Our physicians at North Texas Allergy & Asthma Center are closely monitoring the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are committed to doing our part in minimizing its spread. The safety of our patients, staff, families and visitors is of the utmost importance.
Please rest assured that our North Texas Allergy & Asthma offices are a safe environment:
- We are following all CDC recommendations regarding sterilization of instruments, commonly touched surfaces and work spaces.
- We are diligently implementing additional layers of infection control for the protection of our patients and staff.
- We are following all updated recommendations from the CDC and are monitoring those changes daily.
We encourage everyone in our community to take steps to minimize the spread of the virus. Emerging information regarding this virus is updated regularly by the CDC.
We are offering telemedicine visits through a telemedicine platform that will enable you to continue to receive your allergy, asthma and immunology care while you are at home. Telemedicine is approved by the Texas Department of Insurance, the Texas Medical Association and most major commercial insurance companies, as well as Medicare, although benefits vary depending on the individual policy.
Our Allergy and Immunology offices are currently open. We believe our offices are a safe environment and look forward to seeing you.
If you are having symptoms of a cold, flu or the Coronavirus (fever, cough, shortness of breath or other respiratory symptoms), we ask that you call our office to postpone your appointment.
We have no higher priority than the safety of our patients, staff, families and visitors. From everyone at North Texas Allergy & Asthma Center, we hope you, your family, and friends are staying safe and healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak.
If you have a question about an upcoming appointment or telemedicine visit, please contact us at 940-382-4142.
Sincerely,
