Samuel Foster, M.D.
“My own problems with allergies have given me a clear understanding of how allergies and asthma can affect lives, especially the lives of children and young adults. I have always known that I wanted to be a doctor, but my post-residency interests as a medical school professor and immunology researcher at Texas Children’s Hospital and later as a physician in private practice were shaped by my personal experiences. I understand the struggles, the frustrations, and the life-changing effects these conditions have on my patients. I am committed to providing top-notch care and finding solutions to my patients’ allergy and asthma problems."
Dr. Samuel Foster has been in practice since 2006 and is a board-certified allergist and immunologist. He specializes in the care of adults and children with allergies, asthma, and other immune disorders. B. A. Badie, M.D.
“I have known that I would be a physician since I was very young. While I enjoy practicing medicine in the fields of allergies and asthma, it is really the welfare of and interaction with my patients that matters to me the most. My patients have always been a part of my professional family, and as such, it is my goal to always treat the patient, rather than just the disease. Having practiced medicine in the Denton area for over 35 years, I have had the pleasure and privilege of watching many of my patients grow up, go to college, and bring their own children back to see me. The best compliment for a physician is when a patient refers another member of their family or friend to him as a patient.”
Dr. Badie has been practicing Denton area since 1976 and is a board certified allergist. He specializes in the care of children and adults with allergies, asthma, and immune problems. His areas of interest include asthma, sinus disease and skin allergies and he has published multiple scientific articles in the field of allergy.

Shikha Mane, M.D.
“Coming from a family of physicians, medicine has always been a part of my life. I chose this career because of my desire to help others and my love for science and the human body. It was my experience with severely allergic and immunodeficient patients throughout medical school and residency that solidified my love for this specialty. Having my own personal issues with allergies has helped me understand just how important it is to have a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. I can empathize with what a patient is going through.”
“My father used to say ‘knowledge is power.’ Not only do I believe that to be true and apply that to my own life, but I also emphasize education with my patients so that I can help improve their health. In addition to practicing good quality medicine, spending time and getting to know my patients is one of my main priorities. The most satisfying part of my job is to know that I’ve helped improve someone's quality of life.”
Dr. Shikha Mane has been in practice since 2014 and is a board-certified allergist and immunologist. She specializes in the care of infants, children and adults with allergies, asthma, eczema, and immune system disorders. Her special interests include food allergy, skin disorders, and asthma. “My love for medicine and helping people starting as a young child in grade school and has continued with me throughout life. My friends always turned to me when someone scraped their knee on the playground. I was exposed to Allergy/Immunology purely by luck through a clinical rotation in medical school. I quickly realized how much I love helping patients who have environmental allergies, asthma, food allergies, or eczema symptoms, especially because I, myself, struggled with these very symptoms. I have undergone the same testing and use many of the same treatments that I recommend to my own patients. I can put myself in my patient’s shoes and truly understand first-hand what they are going through, which allows me to care for them in a compassionate and precise manner.
“I work as a detective to identify the root cause of their illness, while providing clear and up to date education, so together we can improve their quality of life. I enjoy and find it imperative to the care of the patient to include them in the team’s decision-making and tailoring their treatment plan to match their unique set of symptoms. With our ever-evolving environments, as is the field of Allergy, I am dedicated to bringing into clinical practice the most up to date and evidence-based recommendations. It is what makes the field of Allergy/Immunology so interesting! My goal is for my patients to live their lives as fully as possible, not limiting themselves due to outdoor or food allergies, respiratory ailments, or hives; to empower them with the knowledge needed to fully grasp the elements of their disease process and to promote their long-term health. I know what it is like to not feel your best, and then also see how a proper diagnosis, education, and treatment can turn your life around!
Dr. Tartibi, or Dr. Hana as her patients call her, has been in practice since 2015 and is a board-certified allergist and immunologist. She specializes in the care of children and adults with allergies, asthma, eczema, food allergies, and immune system disorders. Her special interests include food allergies, hives, rhinitis, and eczema. Outside of medicine, Dr. Tartibi enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends. She also enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, watching scary movies, and taking walks with her daughter.

“I became a physician because I wanted to make a significant and positive difference in the lives of others. One of the things I love most about Allergy and Immunology is the opportunity to help patients of all ages presenting with diverse diseases which can have a profound impact on their quality of life. I have witnessed first-hand how conditions like seasonal allergies, hives, and asthma impact not only a patient’s physical health, but also his or her overall well-being. There is nothing more gratifying than seeing the difference appropriate treatment can have on the lives of patients, empowering them to take control of their allergic conditions instead of their conditions controlling them.”
“My commitment to patients is to treat them how I would want my own family to be treated: with compassion and respect. As a first-generation physician, my family often calls upon me to explain their medical diagnoses and treatment plans after visits due to lack of clear communication and use of medical terminology. Knowing this, I spend time with my patients to provide clear, informative, and concise education. My goal is to empower patients so they can actively participate in the decision-making process and contribute to the development of personalized treatment plans. I know what a difference effective treatment of their conditions can make in the lives of my patients, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with our community!”
Dr. Gaytri Patel is a board-certified allergist. She specializes in the care of infants, children, and adults with allergies, asthma, eczema, and immune system disorders. Her special interests include hives, drug allergies, asthma, and eczema. Outside of medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling abroad with her husband and exploring new cultures. She also enjoys hiking, playing card games, and trying new restaurants - especially desserts.
