Samuel Foster, M.D.

“My own problems with allergies have given me a clear understanding of how allergies and asthma can affect lives, especially the lives of children and young adults. I have always known that I wanted to be a doctor, but my post-residency interests as a medical school professor and immunology researcher at Texas Children’s Hospital and later as a physician in private practice were shaped by my personal experiences. I understand the struggles, the frustrations, and the life-changing effects these conditions have on my patients. I am committed to providing top-notch care and finding solutions to my patients’ allergy and asthma problems."

"As a medical field, allergy and immunology has made great strides in the last generation. We have a much better understanding of the mechanisms involved in allergic diseases and asthma. We are much better able to diagnose and treat allergic conditions and reduce or even eliminate their effects on the people we see in practice. It is a great time to be working in this field. My professional commitment is to get to know my patients and their families, to understand their concerns, and to fully inform them of my medical opinions–to enlist my patients as active partners in confronting their allergy-derived health concerns.”

Roshni Kandyil Foster, M.D., Ph.D.

“Allergy and immunology is my specialty of choice because it is a fascinating field—allergies and asthma are affecting more and more people every year. Whether it is allergic rhinitis, asthma or food allergy, exciting, cutting-edge research is ongoing in our specialty. I obtained my Ph.D. in genetics and enjoy applying that knowledge to the diagnosis and treatment of my patients."

"I take delight in hearing that my patient’s allergy and asthma symptoms have improved after receiving treatments such as immunotherapy and other desensitization procedures. It is personally gratifying to help my patients navigate family and school life with food allergies which can be potentially life-threatening. I enjoy building long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families while striving to provide them with the best healthcare possible. I try to treat others the way I would want to be treated—with compassion and dignity. It is a privilege to be able to help someone feel better and improve their quality of life."

"I went into medicine because I enjoy helping people and it is a noble profession. As my father always says, “Health is wealth” and I truly believe this. Good health is a blessing and should never be taken for granted."

B. A. Badie, M.D.

“I have known that I would be a physician since I was very young. While I enjoy practicing medicine in the fields of allergies and asthma, it is really the welfare of and interaction with my patients that matters to me the most. My patients have always been a part of my professional family, and as such, it is my goal to always treat the patient, rather than just the disease. Having practiced medicine in the Denton area for over 35 years, I have had the pleasure and privilege of watching many of my patients grow up, go to college, and bring their own children back to see me. The best compliment for a physician is when a patient refers another member of their family or friend to him as a patient.”

Dr. Badie has been practicing Denton area since 1976 and is a board certified allergist. He specializes in the care of children and adults with allergies, asthma, and immune problems. His areas of interest include asthma, sinus disease and skin allergies and he has published multiple scientific articles in the field of allergy.
